CPI Corporation Picture-perfect social media marketing
CPI Corp., operator of portrait studios in Sears and Walmart stores, wanted to increase positive online chatter among target customers – moms with young kids.
Dix & Eaton created a social media marketing program that began with monitoring social media mentions of the studios to determine what consumers were saying about their experiences with the brands – and where they were saying it. From there, we developed a social media strategy to engage customers who seek the brand out online, including a mom blogger giveaway program, social network launch and social media press release program.
Over the three-month launch period, D&E’s efforts moved the needle for CPI. Positive social media mentions went up, CPI gained online market share from competitors, more than 350 customers joined the Facebook fan page in the first 20 days, and mom bloggers continue to write positive posts about their portrait experiences.
