At Dix & Eaton, our passion is to be an invaluable partner in all relationships, and that remains especially important as we continue to navigate in this virtual and challenging environment. It appears that 2021 is looking to bring promise and now that spring is upon us, there is some optimism in the air. Just as spring brings hope for new growth and renewal, so does bringing new talent into our organization.

Our team has done an amazing job of partnering and persevering through a difficult time. We are fortunate to have a talented group of such high-quality professionals who bring ideas, collaboration and care to the relationships they build every single day. On March 17, we announced four new additions to the firm and I’m excited to take a moment to introduce you to these outstanding individuals.

Eliza Wing

Eliza Wing, senior advisor. Eliza brings deep and varied experience to our team after serving in highly strategic roles as chief communications officer for Cuyahoga County, director for digital brands at American Greetings and as founder, president and CEO at Cleveland.com. In addition to a wealth of experience, she brings a super calm and engaging style.. It has been great to get to know her and her African Grey free ranging parrot, Isabo, who has a lot to say on our video calls. We are so excited to have them both on our team.

Vincent Dorsey

Vincent Dorsey, account executive.  After working with us as a freelancer, Vincent joined our team as a full-time employee in March 2021. He started his career as a high school sports content producer with WKYC-TV and went on to serve as a communications specialist with Forest City. Vincent is an excellent writer and content creator and already has a full portfolio of sustainability, investor relations and corporate communications clients. He has a contagious smile and is one of the happiest and most optimistic people we have ever hired. It’s great to have him on the team.

Kayla Pretzer, assistant account executive.  Kayla began her career with us as an intern in 2020 just two weeks prior to everyone being sent home due to COVID-19.  She quickly found a way to engage with her colleagues and clients by offering assistance in social media, research and analytics, media relations and sustainability.  Kayla is one of those rare individuals that feels as though she has  been with us for years. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron with a dual degree in public relations and Spanish, with a minor in marketing. She is a great team player and brings energy and enthusiasm to all she does.

Daijha Thompson, assistant account executive.  Daijha is currently an intern with us and will officially join the firm in June 2021. She currently attends Syracuse University and will graduate summa cum laude with a dual degree in public relations and political philosophy. She has quickly impressed her colleagues with the insights, energy and enthusiasm she brings to every project. She has assisted clients in the areas of media relations, sustainability and research. Daijha is passionate about our work in diversity, equity and inclusion and has already been a great addition to our team and an inspirational partner to me.

We are so excited to welcome these four professionals to D&E and share their talents and creativity with our clients and colleagues.
