Dix & Eaton Promotes Three to Senior Vice President, One to Senior Account Executive

CLEVELAND, OH – July 10, 2018 – Dix & Eaton announced today the promotions of Karin Bonev, Kellie Friery and Angela Rodenhauser to senior vice president, and Angela Almasy to senior account executive.

As senior vice presidents, Bonev, Friery and Rodenhauser bring a broad range of senior-level, strategic counsel in investor relations and corporate communications, which are core service offerings for Dix & Eaton. This work includes communications related to significant change management, corporate mergers and acquisitions, executive transitions, proxy contests and shareholder activism, digital strategies, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and communications, and program assessment and measurement.

About Karin Bonev

Karin Bonev leads the internal communications practice at Dix & Eaton and works with the marketing communications practice, counseling a variety of public and private companies.

Bonev specializes in strategic communication during significant change including CEO transitions, new strategies, special projects and mergers and acquisitions, branding and employer branding, and communication audits.

She graduated cum laude from Wellesley College with a bachelor’s degree in German literature. After a study abroad experience, she was named a Fulbright scholar in Germany. From there, Bonev worked internationally at Deutsche Telekom. Upon returning to the United States, she worked in education and communication at Victory Capital Management.

About Kellie Friery

Kellie Friery has been a part of Dix & Eaton’s investor relations practice for more than a decade. She specializes in investor relations and corporate communications strategy and program development, and has significant experience providing strategic counsel and support on broader corporate communications initiatives.

In addition, Friery has served as an on-site resource for clients preparing for initial public offerings and other critical announcements.

Prior to working at Dix & Eaton, she was an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. She also earned her designation as a CPA. Friery graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy.

About Angela Rodenhauser

Angela Rodenhauser develops and executes comprehensive communications strategies and programs to support corporate executives in effectively positioning their companies with investors, securities analysts, employees and the business media. She has more than 15 years of experience working with CEOs, CFOs, investor relations officers and corporate communications leaders on investor relations strategy, program development and execution as well as providing counsel on broader corporate communications initiatives related to change management, business growth, brand awareness and integrated communications.

Before joining Dix & Eaton in 2000, she was with a different Cleveland-based investor relations consulting firm serving clients in a variety of industries.

Rodenhauser holds two bachelor’s degrees from John Carroll University in English and communications.

About Angela Almasy

Angela Almasy joined Dix & Eaton in 2014 as an intern and was then hired as an assistant account executive. She quickly moved up to account executive and, now, senior account executive. Almasy specializes in integrated communications, sustainability, corporate social responsibility and ESG communications, and media relations, and leads the Dix & Eaton social media team.

Prior to joining Dix & Eaton, Almasy interned at Edelman in Chicago, where she focused on health and nutrition.

Almasy holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication with a concentration in public relations from Kent State University.
