CLEVELAND, OH – May 27, 2021 – Dix & Eaton announced today that Nicole Popp has joined the firm’s Sustainability/ESG (Environmental, Social and corporate Governance) practice as an account executive. Popp brings extensive sustainability consulting experience, strategic planning, communications and program management skills to the firm.

Prior to joining D&E, Popp served as an international strategic consultant with Guyana Telephone & Telegraph Company, leading the completion of its first ESG report and materiality matrix according to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. Popp also served as a climate and sustainability consultant with the Miami-Dade County Public School System, obtaining a greenhouse gas inventory and helping implement a districtwide action plan of sustainably driven mitigation and adaption strategies.
Popp earned a Master of Science degree in sustainability business communications and obtained STEM certification from the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School in May 2021. Popp began working in the sustainability field as a climate research assistant at the College of Charleston, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in environmental and sustainability studies.
