Dix & Eaton Promotes Stephanie Harig and Abbey Linville

CLEVELAND – April 16, 2015 – Dix & Eaton announced today the promotions of Stephanie Harig and Abbey Linville to senior account executive.

“Stephanie and Abbey not only employ outstanding professional skills but have an exceptional ability to influence teams in uniquely positive ways,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Chas Withers. “They’re also both fearless in their approach and attitude, stepping into complex, challenging situations and navigating circumstances to a positive end.”

Harig, who joined Dix & Eaton in March 2013, applies a range of capabilities in investor relations, corporate communications and sustainability strategy and marketing, where she has played a key role in guiding and expanding D&E’s national reach. She is a project manager and writer on a variety of activities and is certified in the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) G4 sustainability reporting guidelines.

A Cleveland native, Harig returned to the area after spending two years in Washington, D.C., earning a master’s degree from The George Washington University and gaining experience in government relations and communications. While in Washington, she interned for the Girl Scouts of the USA and on Capitol Hill in a Senate office, and worked as a teaching assistant. She graduated cum laude from Miami University, where she studied international studies and German. She also holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy with a concentration in Women’s Studies. Harig serves on the Board of Directors for the Hanna Perkins Center for Childhood Development.

Linville leverages strong capabilities in crisis communications, media relations and social media on behalf of a variety of clients. She came to Dix & Eaton in July 2013 from Cleveland Clinic, where she led public relations initiatives for Cleveland Clinic Children’s and the departments of ophthalmology, plastic surgery and dermatology. Linville was an active member of the hospital system’s social media team and led a national social media awareness campaign for Alzheimer’s.

Previously, Linville managed public relations for an integrated communications agency in Northeast Ohio, serving clients in the areas of consumer, law, business-to-business and automotive. She serves on the Executive Leadership Committee for the Northeast Ohio chapter of Autism Speaks, is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and is a professional advisor and mentor to students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Kent State University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in public relations.
