CLEVELAND, OH—July 19, 2021—Dix & Eaton announced today that Greg Hoener has joined the firm as a vice president and will be embedded in the organization’s Sustainability/ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) practice. A proven corporate communications, strategy and sustainability leader, Hoener possesses 15 years of both extensive and innovative experience across industry and consulting roles.

Hoener brings broad and deep experience in sustainability/ESG, corporate communications, project management, change management, internal communications, content creation and counseling clients to the firm. Prior to joining D&E, Hoener served as a senior consultant with international environmental and sustainability consultancy ERM. His responsibilities included leading teams and delivering sustainability strategy, governance and disclosure reports and other projects.
Previously, Hoener held progressive corporate communications roles with Cleveland-based real estate company Forest City Realty Trust. As the company’s director of communications, he was responsible for driving strategy and programming for integrated internal and external communications, corporate branding and social media.
Hoener earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from John Carroll University, where he graduated cum laude and served as managing editor of the school’s No. 1 national weekly and regional non-daily student newspaper.
