CLEVELAND – June 17, 2019 – Dix & Eaton announced today that Melody Caraballo has joined the firm as digital marketing manager focusing on content and social, and Tom Wells has joined as digital media manager.

Both Caraballo and Wells are “boomerangs” – professionals who have gained valuable experience in other markets and then returned home to work and live in Northeast Ohio.
In her role as digital marketing manager, Caraballo integrates content and social media across practice areas to meet marketing objectives in a way that resonates with audiences. She specializes in outlining content and social media strategies that trigger customer advocacy and activation across multiple channels.
Prior to joining Dix & Eaton, Caraballo leveraged her background in writing and branding to consult with businesses on content strategies for websites, content marketing and social media. In 2017, Caraballo collaborated on a video series for Entrepreneurs’ Organization that became a Content Marketing Awards 2018 finalist for Best Branded Content Campaign.
A Cleveland native, Caraballo graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor’s degree in English and worked as an editor and content strategist before attaining a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from West Virginia University.
With over six years of experience as a media buyer, seller and researcher, Wells joins Dix & Eaton’s digital media team to further expand its digital advertising capabilities. He specializes in data analysis and reporting to interpret campaign performance metrics and generate actionable insights. As a digital media manager, he helps advertisers receive the most value from media spends while gleaning audience insights to drive future efforts.
Wells’ cross-vertical experience in healthcare, B2B, retail, travel and telecom gives him a broad scope of experience to draw on when building and executing media plans. His data-first approach to planning and research ensures that plans perform as expected, while leaving room for experimentation and iteration.
Wells is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago’s School of Communication.
