Maddie Winer joined Dix & Eaton in March 2024 with a background in journalism within the automotive industry. She assists clients with media strategy and content creation as well as research and storytelling related to their ESG/sustainability reporting.
Before joining D&E, Maddie served as the editor of aftermarketNews and Tire Review, covering manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, automotive technology and more.
Maddie began her career as a reporter for The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Kentucky, covering Southern Indiana communities. She was honored by the Louisville chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists for her work covering affordable housing in a rural Indiana town.
Maddie’s work has also appeared in The Cleveland Jewish News, Columbus Dispatch, The Arizona Republic and on WKYC-TV, Northeast Ohio’s NBC affiliate.
Maddie is a graduate of Kent State University, where she majored in journalism with a minor in Spanish. She held various leadership positions within the student newspaper and news website.
