Lourdes joined the firm in 2015 from Fairmount Santrol, where she managed various marketing and corporate communications initiatives during a critical time that included the company’s initial public offering, name change and a major corporate rebranding. As a primary writer and editor in her department, she was responsible for overseeing projects related to the rebranding, including product packaging, advertising, trade show collateral and employee communications. A key contributor to the name change and IPO communications, Lourdes also worked on messaging, planned events and wrote content for various members of the leadership team. During her time at Fairmount Santrol, Lourdes had significant involvement in internal and external communications related to the Company’s long-standing commitment to Sustainable Development.
Previously, Lourdes was a project manager at MultiVu, a PR Newswire Company. There, she managed online multimedia and digital content sites from conceptualization through design, editing, publishing, distribution and Web engagement, and gained experience in SEO, social media and other key business analytics.
Earlier, she was a content specialist at PR Newswire and a Fellow in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Modern Art and Education departments.
Lourdes received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University, where she studied the history of art. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in the history of art from Case Western Reserve University.
