As President of Dix & Eaton, Lisa Rose partners with CEO Chas Withers in the areas of client service, practice development, talent development and professional partnerships and alliances.
She previously led Dix & Eaton’s investor relations practice, with responsibility for the delivery and continued enhancement of a broad-ranging portfolio of services and capabilities that includes shareholder communications, corporate governance counsel, investor targeting, proxy contests and shareholder activism, M&A/IPO communications, bankruptcy communications, IR websites and digital strategies, annual reports, corporate sustainability reports, employee education, and IR program assessment and measurement. A senior managing director of the firm, Lisa is a member of its Leadership Committee and Board of Directors.
Drawing on more than 20 years of varied corporate and agency experience in investor relations, internal communications, corporate communications, and accounting and finance, Lisa advises clients on a full range of strategic communications matters, including divestitures, mergers, acquisitions and leadership transitions. In 2012, she received the YWCA Greater Cleveland’s Women of Achievement Award, which celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments of women in Northeast Ohio.
Before joining Dix & Eaton in 1996, Lisa was with Associated Estates Realty Corporation, where she served as manager of investor relations and was responsible for the design and implementation of the investor relations program for the newly public real estate investment trust. She was also responsible for all investment community contacts, the production of all financial communications, guiding the company on disclosure requirements and a variety of issues surrounding the company’s capital structure. Lisa also served as the main contact for outside legal counsel on all investor relations-related issues.
Earlier, Lisa was a financial analyst at Reliance Electric Company. Her responsibilities included extensive participation in taking the company public by producing and participating in the initial road show presentations and developing financial models used to determine the appropriate capital structure for the company. In addition to assisting in the ongoing investor relations activities, Lisa provided management and the Board of Directors with extensive financial analysis on the company and its peer group.
Lisa is a certified public accountant and a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and holds Investor Relations Charter certification from NIRI. She is a current board member of Cleveland State University College of Business Visiting Committee, Commission on Economic Inclusion and Cleveland Leadership Center. Lisa is a former board member of Bloom Artisan Bakery and Café, Presidents’ Council Foundation, College Now and Saint Joseph Academy and former board chair for Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and Towards Employment. She is also a member of Leadership Cleveland Class of 2009, In Counsel With Women and The 50 Club.
