Dean Ilijasic – Senior Advisor, Strategy & Insights

Dean Ilijasic is co-founder of Long & Short of It, Dix & Eaton’s strategy and insights partner. With over two decades of marketing, strategic planning, business development and innovation experience, Dean combines the art and science of marketing to deliver solutions for clients based on insights.

Prior to co-founding Long & Short of It, Dean served as chief strategy & innovation officer at Adcom Group, SVP – director of consumer innovation and community bank marketing for KeyBank, SVP marketing at JPMorgan Chase, director of business development at American Express and VP business products for Visa.  Additionally, Dean has co-authored three patents related to the marketing and payments industry.

Dean is highly curious, energetic and creative. He easily relates to people, reads a room, and finds a way to cut through the clutter to solve your challenge while ensuring it’s tied to your objective. A dynamic speaker and facilitator, he also is certified in innovation engineering from the renowned Eureka Ranch. Dean has a BA in political science from Arizona State University. He generously donates his time by serving on the board of the Cleveland International Film Festival and as a mentor with College Now Greater Cleveland.
