Assistant Vice President
Bailey Wells is an Assistant Vice President in Dix & Eaton’s marketing and communications practice, and serves as a direct counselor to clients across a wide range of industries at varying stages of brand and marketing life cycles and growth stages. A passionate brand advocate and marketer, Bailey loves nothing more than converting challenges to opportunities, and insights into action.
Bailey joined D&E in 2018 from Beam Suntory, where she managed global spirits brands including Hornitos tequila and Courvoisier cognac. Her responsibilities included owning the annual brand planning cycle, strategizing with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and partners on brand strategy, channel and consumer segmentation and management of marketing budget investments and ROI evaluations. These direct marketing efforts generated increased value and performance year over year, and included a packaging re-launch, global strategy repositioning, and debut of an omnichannel brand campaign through the line.
Previously, Bailey held positions at public affairs agency Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications and Big Fuel, where she led departments of digital and social media marketers supporting clients on a range of digital communications needs from websites to advertising strategies, from content plans to crisis management. With industry experience including healthcare, entertainment, automotive, higher education, nonprofit and foundations, Bailey’s vast background affords her the unique ability to share perspective on general marketing best practices, as well as diagnose specific strategies to achieve maximum impact and reach.
Bailey holds her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she graduated magna cum laude, and her Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
