A seasoned business communications professional, Pat Gallagher draws on more than 30 years of corporate, agency and journalism experience to advise and assist clients in a wide range of industries in corporate communications, investor relations, marketing communications, media relations, M&A transactions, and bankruptcy and restructuring communications.
Pat’s expertise includes shareholder communications, activism, IPOs, bankruptcy and crisis communications, branding and corporate positioning, and more. Throughout his career, he has helped companies shape their investor stories, attract analysts and investors, generate media coverage and deal with strategic challenges.
During his tenure with two major Ohio-based marketing and communications firms, Pat held various senior positions and led or co-led their corporate, investor relations and financial communications practices. Earlier in his career, he served as director of public relations for a $1 billion NYSE-listed transportation and logistics company, where his responsibilities included the annual report, earnings releases and other corporate announcements. Previously, he was editor of a leading monthly magazine for corporate transportation, distribution and logistics managers.
Pat holds an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and has served as president of the Cleveland chapters of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He received the Meritorious Service Award from ACG Global in 2015. He is a past board president of Project Learn Cleveland and the University of Pennsylvania Club of Cleveland and has served on the boards of Great Lakes Theater and Town Hall Speaker Series of Cleveland.
