John Kristoff provides counsel to board chairs, CEOs, CFOs and other corporate officers on integrated communications, investor relations, media relations, crisis communications, M&A, transformation and restructuring. He has more than 25 years of public company experience as a C-suite executive and trusted advisor to several CEOs, and also serves on the advisory board of a Silicon Valley start-up company. His experience includes successfully navigating many high stakes events, including a hostile takeover attempt, shareholder activism, corporate SEC and DOJ investigations, political and media crises and large M&A transactions. In addition, John has been involved in several successful CEO and CFO transitions.
John joined Dix & Eaton in 2018 as Senior Advisor, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations. Prior to joining Dix & Eaton, he served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Diebold Nixdorf (NYSE: DBD). John began his career working in public relations for BF Goodrich. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Kent State University and an MBA from Ashland University. In addition, he shares a PRSA Silver Anvil for “Changing the Shareholder Mix and Company Image, and Increasing Valuation”.
