New Media Relations and Digital Hires | Dix & Eaton

CLEVELAND, OH – Nov. 1, 2018 – Dix & Eaton announced today that Tim Dewald has joined the firm as a senior account executive and Kris Fiocca as an assistant account executive.

Both are Northeast Ohio natives, and Tim is a Cleveland ‘boomerang’ – a professional who has gained valuable experience in other markets but returned home to work and live in Northeast Ohio.

ABOUT TIM DEWALD

Dewald is a senior account executive in the firm’s media relations practice and comes to Dix & Eaton from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where he guided and implemented social media and digital marketing initiatives. He also played a prominent role in coordinating media relations efforts with national financial press.

Prior to the Fed, Dewald served as a producer on CNBC’s “Mad Money with Jim Cramer.” There, he booked executive guests and piloted several digital initiatives across CNBC. He began his career as a page at NBC. Dewald earned a bachelor of arts degree from Baldwin Wallace University and graduated summa cum laude.

ABOUT KRIS FIOCCA

Fiocca joined Dix & Eaton as an assistant account executive after completing an internship with the firm. He now works closely with the firm’s media relations and marketing communications practices. He focuses on effective media pitching and monitoring strategies, as well as helping clients understand the value of social media through analytics.

Fiocca previously interned with Designed Learning, an international consulting organization as a social media intern. Fiocca graduated from Miami University’s College of Arts and Science with a degree in strategic communication with minors in entrepreneurship and general business. He also has experience using Google Analytics and NetBase.
