Dave Eaton President, Aperian Global
Dave Eaton is a global consultant for multinational corporations throughout the world. For more than 15 years, he has coached companies on the critical issues related to developing global competency in support for global business objectives.
As a strategic consultant, he has worked closely with senior management to design globalization strategies, specifically to evaluate and develop the core, cross-cultural competencies of today’s global leader. Aperian Global has established a link between global competency and bottom-line performance. This has lead to an increase in overall effectiveness of individuals and groups, tracked by key internal and external metrics.
Dave has worked with a broad range of clients including Fidelity, Dell, Ernst & Young, Alcatel, Boston Scientific, Wal-Mart, Saint-Gobain, Bechtel, & Sony.
As a consultant, he has assisted companies with the complex issues surrounding the need for cross-cultural competency in areas like joint venture management, cross-border outsourcing, new product introductions, human resource development, corporate communications, sales & marketing, and manufacturing.
Prior to his work as a cross-cultural consultant, Dave worked for two international public relations firms. As an account executive, he created and implemented innovative public relations strategies to support the corporation’s communications objectives for achieving bottom-line business objectives.
Dave has a Master’s in Cross-Cultural Training & Consulting from Lesley Graduate School. He is a member of SIETAR (International Society of Intercultural Education, Training & Research), Employee Relocation Council (E-R-C), SHRM, and ASTD (American Society of Training & Development).
He and his wife Jennifer and their four children, Sam, Kendall, Jack Henry and Charlie, reside in Boston.
