Dix & Eaton partnered with the Gallup Organization and Cleveland-based University Hospitals on a four-phase communications plan to support the organization’s employee engagement efforts, integrating a new vision laid out by the CEO.
The communications plan was designed to promote and encourage participation in the process, as well as enhance dialogue and create impactful action planning throughout the organization in support of University Hospitals’ strategic goals.
Overall, University Hospitals’ participation rate was more than 10 percent greater than Gallup’s industry average for healthcare and reflected an increase in its overall employee engagement score. In addition, tools and communications specifically developed for University Hospitals’ unique working environment and culture helped managers and employees understand the important link between engagement and business success as well as deliver on the organization’s strategic vision.
