Stardust implosion media outreach
LVI Services Inc., the nation’s largest environmental and facility services firm, was engaged to demolish and implode Las Vegas’ famed Stardust Casino and Hotel. Months in advance of the implosion, Dix & Eaton partnered with LVI and LVI’s client and subcontractor to coordinate messaging, story angles and media outreach.
D&E produced press materials; reached out to local media, national print, broadcast and online outlets and key trade publications; coordinated media site visits and a video news package; and was on site for the event to handle media relations.
LVI’s story received local, national and international print, broadcast and online media coverage in more than 200 outlets.
