About The Henry F. Eaton Legacy Project
The legacy program was established in memory of Dix & Eaton’s late co-founder, who demonstrated a tremendous love for and commitment to the Northeast Ohio community through personal service and leadership. It involves regular designation of a single project of meaningful scale and importance such that a significant donation of the firm’s professional resources can help make a noticeable impact for the benefit of the community.
Through the program, Dix & Eaton has provided the equivalent of approximately $250,000 in services to support programs that benefit the region. Dix & Eaton’s inaugural legacy project supported Team NEO in the process of charting a marketing strategy and researching and articulating a set of key economic development differentiators for Northeast Ohio. Its second project helped lay the groundwork for and create a regional marketing program known as the Cleveland Plus Marketing Alliance.
Eaton, who co-founded Dix & Eaton in 1952, served as a trusted counselor and confidant to many of the region’s top business and civic leaders and devoted personal time and energy to countless civic and charitable causes – especially in the areas of the arts, education, economic development and the overall well-being of the community. He died in 2003.
